Message from the Eastside elders

The fluidity of the national crisis has led the elders to another difficult decision. Due to Governor Abbott’s executive order limiting all public gatherings to no more than 10 individuals, the elders have decided to suspend all assemblies until April 12

The REVISED schedule will look like this:
Sunday, March 22: NO Assemblies
Sunday, March 29: NO Assemblies
Sunday, April 5: NO Assemblies
Sunday, April 12: Normal schedule resumes

Wednesday, March 25: NO Bible classes
Wednesday, April 1: NO Bible classes
Wednesday, April 8: NO Bible classes
Wednesday, April 15: Normal Bible classes resume

Please remember that the situation has been changing rapidly and the schedule may be modified. Continue to pray for the brethren as well as our nation and its leaders.

Your Shepherds,
Joe, Tim, Ed, and Jim

Upcoming Events

We invite you to study God's Word with us on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

On Sunday mornings at 9:30 we're studying the book of Acts in the New Testament. The book is not only a fascinating history of the early church, but it also helps us define the church's work and worship for today.

In addition, we'll be exploring our 2020 congregational theme "Seeing God's Will With 20/20 Vision."   Our theme comes from Acts 20:20 in which Paul declared his unwavering and consistent teaching of God's word. On the second Sunday of every month we'll present a lesson that will help us as we seek to see God's will more clearly. Check back often as we'll post a link to those lessons on this page.

May God be with us as we seek Him more in 2020.

Thanks for visiting!
